App Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 11, 2026

This policy covers "Gabby and Mercy Publisher", the private tool that the owner of the Gabby and Mercy channel uses to publish and manage their own content. It applies to the Google Cloud app used with YouTube and to the Pinterest developer app (app ID 1621848).

Who uses the app

The app is used only by the owner of the Gabby and Mercy accounts to manage their own YouTube channel and Pinterest account. It has no public sign-up, and it is never used to access or manage anyone else's account.

YouTube API Services

This app uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Through the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API, the app:

uploads videos and thumbnails to the owner's channel and schedules when they go public;
updates the owner's video titles, descriptions, tags, categories, playlists, privacy and Made for Kids settings, and channel branding;
reads the owner's own channel and video analytics (views, watch time, traffic sources, countries) to plan content.

The app does not access, store or share any information about viewers, commenters or other YouTube users.

Pinterest API

Through the Pinterest API, the app creates and schedules Pins on the owner's own boards and reads the owner's own boards and Pin data. It does not access other Pinterest users' data.

What we store and for how long

OAuth access and refresh tokens for the owner's accounts, kept privately on the owner's secured computer and never shared.
Copies of the owner's own video metadata and analytics reports, kept for planning and backups for as long as the channel is active.

We do not collect personal information from children or any other users. We do not sell, rent or share data with anyone, and we use no advertising or tracking.

Revoking access and deleting data

The account owner can revoke the app's access at any time: for Google and YouTube at Google security settings, and for Pinterest under Settings, then Security and logins, then Apps. When access is revoked, the stored tokens are deleted, and any stored data from the API is deleted within 7 days, or sooner on request.

Children's privacy

Gabby and Mercy makes content for children, and the YouTube channel is set as Made for Kids. This app and this website collect no personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the effective date.
